When inseminating an animal, follow the steps below to correctly record the insemination date in your management software or in Velos. 

Using Management Software

1. On the Heat detection page, select the animals that were inseminated.
2. Select Actions > Seen. 
   The selected animals move to the Handled tab.
3. Enter the insemination date in your management software.

Without Management Software

1. On the Heat detection page, select Actions next to the green progress bar of the animal.
2. Select Inseminate. 
3. In the new window, adjust the data if required. 
   Velos automatically registers the current date as the insemination date, and the animal moves to the Handled tab.
