The external list tile on the dashboard shows lists of animals that are imported from another database. 

You can import external lists into Velos using the Taurus exchange program.

The following is required in addition to the other Taurus requirements as defined in the Data Connector Taurus for Velos (incl. CSV) Installation Manual:

• Velos module Animal Lists in the Velos License.
• External list in Velos (see the next paragraph).
• A file containing the animal numbers.

Create an External List in Velos

1. Select Settings from the menu.
2. Under Farm, select External lists
3. Select Add
4. Enter a Name and select Ok.
