If an animal moves to another pen, update the assigned pen in Velos. The steps depend on whether you use a farm management system.

With a Farm Management System

If you use a Farm management system, the production pen updates automatically when an animal moves. 

No further action is needed.

Without a Farm Management System

If you use Velos as a standalone system, update the pen manually or automatically. 

Move an Animal Manually

1. Open the Animal details page.
2. Under Basic data, select Edit.
3. Change the Pen.
4. Select Submit.

Move Multiple Animals Manually 

1. Use Quick entry to update multiple animals at once. 

Move Animals Automatically

• Use Production based pen management.
