Set up the Network Connection

You must connect the VPU to the internet to use online services, such as online backup and Business Insight.

• VPU-online is the web address that lets you access Velos from a browser on another device, such as a phone or tablet.

• Business Insight is a Nedap cloud service used for online backups and data services.

Configure network settings

1. Select Settings from the menu.
2. Under System, select Network.
3. In Mode, select one of the following options:

   1. DHCP – Network settings are configured automatically.

   2. Manually – Use this option if your network requires custom settings.
      Enter the IP address, Gateway, Subnet mask, and DNS as provided by your network administrator.

4. In VPU-online, enter a domain name to access Velos from a web browser.
   Example: demo-farm.vpu-online.com
5. Select Submit.
