Solve System Notifications

System notifications are system related messages that need attention. The system is running, but some, not critical components, do not function or need an update. For example when there is new V-pack firmware, a not registered license or it is time for making a back-up.


The table below shows the possible system notifications and the required actions to solve them.

Update licenseSelect the link to update the license.
VPack firmware
Select the link to update the VPack.
USB backup failedSelect the link and follow the steps Set up USB Backup.
Online backup failedSelect the link and follow the steps in Set up Online Backup.
Database check(s) failedContact your dealer
Setup Nedap Now
Select the link to setup Nedap Now, for detailed step-by-step instructions, look at the Farm Setup Manual.
Exporting data to Nedap Now failedContact your dealer
Set update preferences for Velos and VPack firmwareSelect Settings from the menu. Under Devices, select Update. Update the preferences here.
A new Velos update is available
Select the link to update the system.
Update is downloaded and ready for installation
Select the link to install the update.
Activate license
Select the link to activate the license.
Create backup (# days ago)Select the link and follow the steps in Create a Manual Backup.
Check component on settings
Select the link, this will open Settings > Behaviour components. Solve the problem as indicated on this page. 
Check power channel (name)Select Maintenance from the menu. Under Devices, select VPacks. Check the power channel here.
