SmartTags must be linked to animals in your Nedap Now system before they can start collecting data. You can link tags in multiple ways, depending on the device you're using and the method that suits your workflow. 

Linking Methods

You can link tags using one of the following methods:

1. Manually: Enter the tag number and animal number manually (available on desktop and mobile). 

2. Using NFC: Tap your mobile device against the tag to link it (mobile only).

3. Using a QR code: Scan the QR code on the tag for quick assignment (mobile only).

4. Using a handheld reader: Link eIDs to SmartTags using a handheld reader.
