How to Add Animals to a Custom Worklist

Modified on Thu, 24 Apr at 1:14 PM

The My worklists option lets you create fully customized worklists. You decide which animals to include, based on stage (Dry, fresh, lactation), task (repro check, health check), assigned person, timing, or any other criteria that matter to you. Learn How to Create a Custom Worklist.

Custom worklists function like other worklists. The main difference is how animals are added to the list. Depending on whether the list uses filters, the steps to manage the list vary. This article explains how to add animals to a custom worklist.

Automatically Filled Lists

These lists use filters to add animals. You need to update the list manually to refresh the data. Manually updating these custom worklists keep the previous list available until the next update.

How to update a custom worklist:

  1. See when the last update of the list was performed. This is depicted on the Worklist dashboard under the custom worklist title (see image below).
  2. Select the three dots next to the worklist > Update list. The list is updated and the date and time of the last update is changed.

Manually Filled List

These lists do not use filters. You must add animals manually by copying or moving them to the worklist. This can be done from, for example, the Reproduction checks worklist and Health checks worklist
