If your system includes Cow Locating, you can easily see where animals are in the barn using the View on map feature. This feature is available in both the mobile app and web version.

Where to Find the View on Map button

You can view animals on the map from:

• A worklist: Select one or more animals, then select View on map.

• The animal details page: Select an animal number, then select View on map in the upper-right corner.

How to Use the Map

In a worklist, or with the animal detail page open:

1. Select View on map.
2. If your farm has multiple Cow Locating locations:
   1. Animals from one location: the map opens directly.
   2. Animals from multiple locations: select the location you want to view.
3. The map opens in a new window. The selected animals appear as green circles showing their real-time positions.
   Note

   If a circle is grey, the connection with that animal's tag is lost. Refer to the Troubleshooting section in the Cow Locating Installation Manual for possible solutions. 

4. To add or remove animals: 
   1. Select Add animals on the map.
   2. Add: Enter the animal number and select +.
   3. Remove: Select X next to the animal.
5. View the map to locate the animals.
