The Health Graph provides detailed insights into an animal’s behavioral trends and health status. It combines data on eating, ruminating, and inactivity with calendar events and health issues to help you assess animal well-being over time. You can also customize the graph to focus on the data that matters most to you.
What the Health Graph Shows
The health graph consist of two sections:
- Line graph: Displays trends over time for eating, ruminating, and inactivity, along with health issues and calendar events
- Bar graph: Shows a 48-hour snapshot of detailed behavior, visualized in colored blocks

How to Use the Health Graph
- Navigate the line graph to get an overview of the animal's behavior over a longer period. The x-axis is the selected time period (7-60 days). The y-axis is the animal's behavior (in hours). Analyze the health data by looking at:
- Track trends across these behavior types:
- Eating (dark blue line)
- Ruminating (light blue line)

- Health issues: Displayed at the top of the graph for quick visibility.
- View 48 hour details of the animal's behavior in the bar graph.
- The colors indicate behavior type.
- The width represents behavior duration. For example, a long period of inactivity appears as a wide grey block.
- Only urgent health issues are shown in the bar graph. These are indicated with a red horizontal line above the bar graph.
TipHover over a health issue to view its start time, end time and duration.
Examples of Health Graphs
- Chronically sick cows:
- Line Graph: Long periods of low eating and ruminating, high inactivity.
- Bar Graph: Many grey blocks, indicating extended inactivity

- Recovering after a health issue
- Line Graph: Inactivity decreases, eating and ruminating increase.
