The Pen analytics tab shows the status of all monitored pens (monitored pens are pens equipped with beacons) and the animals assigned to them. Use this overview to get insights into issues such as:

• How serious the mismatch problem is on your farm.
• Whether you need to adjust feed quantities or move animals in certain groups.
• Whether certain pens or groups show recurring issues.

How to Use the Pen Analytics Page

1. Open the Herd app and go to the Pen analytics tab.
2. Select the farm you want to view. 
3. Review the following columns to analyse mismatches and determine your actions:
   • #Assigned animals: The number of animals assigned to the pen.
   • #Animals in pen: The number of animals currently present in the pen.
   • #Correct animals: The number of animals that are both assigned to and present in the pen.
   • #Extra animals: The number of animals present in the pen that are not assigned to it.
   • #Missing animals: The number of animals assigned to the pen that are not currently in the pen.
   • Last updated: Date and time of the most recent update of the numbers in the table.
