Handle Animals on the Reproduction Checks Worklist

Use the steps below to perform fertility, pregnancy and abortion warning checks. For example, to confirm when an animal is (not) pregnant, move her to a custom worklist, confirm the animal is not in heat or remove her from the worklist. 

  1. Open the Worklist dashboard, and select the Reproduction checks worklist. The Active tab opens by default.
  2. Review the animal's data. Use the following columns to assess each case: 
    • Last heat

    • Last insemination

    • Type of check

  3.  To further evaluate the animal's health and history:

    1. Select the arrow icon at the end of the row to open the reproduction graph . 
    2. Review the data in the graph. See Understanding the Reproduction Graph for for more help interpreting the graph. 
  4. Select one of the following actions per animal: 
    1. For Fertility checks:
      1. Move to custom worklist: Selectto move the animal to a custom worklist.
      2. Checked: Select to confirm that the animal has been checked.

    2. For Abortion warning checks:
      1. No heat: Select to confirm that the animal is not in heat.

    3. For Pregnancy checks:
      1. Pregnant: Select  to confirm that the animal is pregnant.
      2. Not pregnant: Select  to confirm that the animal is not pregnant.
      3. Remove from list: Select to remove the animal from the Active tab. 
      4. Uncertain: Select  to mark the pregnanct status as uncertain..
Tip

You can use the customized Flags feature to highlight specific health or reproduction conditions for each animal.
