eIDs starting with 984 have the same first numbers as SmartTags. For the system to function properly, it is important to tell the system that you are going to scan these type of tags.
- When you start a new scanning session, select My eID tags start with 984.
- Select Start session.
- Scan the eID first. You'll hear one beep. This confirms the tag was scanned. The app shows the eID.
- Scan the SmartTag. You’ll hear two beeps. This confirms that the eID and SmartTag are paired. Check the app to confirm the tags are linked correctly.
- Continue with this process until you have linked all tags.
Caution
With this option enabled, always scan the eID first, then the SmartTag.
TipIf at any point, you hear a long beep and/or feel your phone vibrate, check the app to see what went wrong.
Also, if you do not hear the double beep after scanning the SmartTag, stop and check.
