Only put SmartTags into warranty mode on recommendation by your business partner.
If your SmartTag is not working, make sure to troubleshoot SmartTag issues. If you cannot solve the problem, contact your business partner.
With the Nedap CowControl app, you can put SmartTags into warranty mode. This deactivates the SmartTag, stopping it from sending RF signals, which makes it safe for transport. Only perform this action when the SmartTag has to be sent back to the manufacturer.
Caution
Once a SmartTag is deactivated via warranty mode, it cannot be reactivated.
