You can convert an existing Velos installation to Nedap Now. Before you start, check the hardware, data integrations, and required functionality.

1. Check the Hardware

Not all hardware used with Velos can be used with Nedap Now.

2. Check the Data Integrations

Before you convert the installation, check whether the data integrations currently used in Velos are also available in Nedap Now.

1. Identify the integrations currently used in Velos.

2. Check whether the farm imports data, exports data, or both.

3. Check the same integration integrations in Nedap Now.

4. Confirm that the required data can be exchanged.

3. Check the Required Functionality

Some Nedap Now functionality depends on:

• The SmartTag type.
• The SmartTag production year.
• The installed reader.

4. Continue with the Conversion

When you have confirmed that the hardware, data integrations, and required functionality meet the requirements for Nedap Now, you can continue with the conversion.
