Control when Animals Appear on the Lameness Checks Worklist

Modified on Fri, 20 Feb at 4:16 PM

You can adjust the Lameness checks worklist to match your workflow. The following settings are available:

  • Hide Low score issues: Show only animals with declining locomotion scores.

  • Adjust issue threshold: Define the maximum locomotion score for animals to appear as a Low score or Low and declining issue. You can apply one threshold to all pens or set custom thresholds per pen or lactation group.

Hide Low Score Issues

When this setting is enabled, the worklist shows only animals with declining locomotion scores. In the worklist, you will only see animals with the Strong decline and Low and declining issue type. You might want to use this when you only want to treat animals with a declining score. For more information about issue types, see Understand the Lameness Checks Worklist.

Adjust Issue Threshold

Use this setting to control which animals appear in the worklist based on their locomotion score. The Low score issue type are assigned to an animal when they have a locomotion score lower than a certain threshold. You can change this threshold to your liking.

Apply one threshold to all pens or per lactation group.

  1. Go to Settings > Lameness checks.
  2. Under Alert threshold, select Pen or Lactation group.
  3. Adjust the slider(s):
    1. Move the slider to the left to reduce the number of animals in the list. Only animals with very low locomotion scores appear.
    2. Move the slider to the right to add more animals to the list. Animals with higher locomotion scores also appear.
  4. Select Save.

Set custom thresholds for specific pens.

  1. Select Add pen.
  2. Select the pen(s) you want to add custom settings.
  3. Adjust the slider as decribed above.
  4. Select Save.
