The On different location worklist shows animals that were seen on a farm or in a pen different from their assigned location. This worklist is available for all multi-site dairies or dairies that use Pen Monitoring.
How it Works
Animals are automatically added to the On different location worklist when:
- The animal was last seen on a different farm than its assigned farm.
- The animal was last seen in a different pen than its assigned pen (only available for farms with Pen Monitoring).
What you See on the Dashboard
On the Worklist dashboard, the On different location tile shows:
- Different pen: The number of animals detected in a different pen.
- Different farm: The number of animals detected on a different farm.
Tabs Overview
The On different location worklist is divided into two tabs to help you track current and recently handled animals.
- Active: Shows animals currently detected at the wrong pen or farm.
- Past week: Shows animals that were handled on the Active tab within the last 7 days.
How to Interpret the Data
Focus on these columns in the worklist:
- Pen: Shows the pen that the animal is assigned to.
- Farm: Shows the farm that the animal is assigned to.
- Reason: Shows why the animal is on the worklist (different farm or pen).
- Seen in pen/farm: Shows the pen or farm that the animal was last detected.
- Added: Shows date and time that the animal was added to the worklist.
Next Step
Once you’ve reviewed the data and confirmed that an animal is in the wrong location, choose one of the following actions:
- Assign to last seen pen: The animal is reassigned to the pen it was last seen.
- Assign to last seen farm: The animal is reassigned to the farm it was last seen. This will trigger a pop-up asking you to assign the animal to a pen on the last seen farm.
NoteYou can only move animals assigned to or last seen on a farm you have permission for.
- Remove from list: This will snooze the alert until new data comes in. If the animal is still in a different pen, it will be added back to the list.
