How and When to Use the Milking Day Report

The Milking day report shows an animal's milking results of the day. Use this report to view detailed information about an animal's milk performance up to ten days back, so you can find abnormalities and make improvements. 


This reports includes the following data:

  • Animal information: Animal number, life number and production group
  • Total milkyield
  • Dev. (%): Milk yield deviation
  • Seven days average milk yield
  • Milk session data: milking time, yield and date.

How to Use this Report

Check this report if want to view detailed information about animal's milking performance.


To view the report:

  1. Go to Reports
  2. Under Milking, select Milk session report.
  3. Select the Production group.
  4. Select the period you want to view.
    1. Select a session to set the start of the period. 
    2. Select a later session to set the end of the period.
      Tip

      The number behind the date is the milking session number. For example, 18-08 (1) is the first milking session of the day and 18-08 (2) is the second milking session. Check your Milking times settings to see how your milking sessions are set up.

  5. Review the list. You can sort and filter the data as needed.
  6. (Optional) Print the report or export it as a CSV, Excel or PDF file.


What is the Difference with the Milk Session Report?

The main difference between the Milk session and Milking day report is the data that is shown. The Milking Day report contains more animal information. Hence, use the Milk session report for technical improvement and Milking Day report for animal based information.
