The Calving worklist shows the number of animals expected to calve today or within a predefined number of days. In addition to pen and animal data, the worklist displays each animal’s gestation length and expected calving date.

Use the Settings app to change the default number of days before an animal appears on this worklist, in the Reproduction section. For example, if you want the animals to show on the worklist later (closer to their expected calving date).

On the Worklist dashboard, the Calving tile shows the following data:

• Today shows the number of animals that are expected to start calving shortly. The default number of days between insemination and expected calving is set to 280 days.
• Upcoming shows the number of animals that are expected to calve within a predefined number of days. The default number of days is set to 10 days.

How to Use the Calving Worklist

• From the Worklist dashboard, open the Calving worklist. The Active tab opens by default. 
• Focus on the following column:
  • Expected Calving: This column shows the date that this animal is expected to calve.
• To view more data, open the reproduction graph or select the animal number. This opens the animal’s overview, showing all her details.
• The animal is removed from the worklist when a new calving is recorded through the herd management system or by performing the Calving action on the right side of the animal record.

Animal Actions

	Calved Perform this action to indicate that the animal calved. The animal moves to the Past week tab.
	Remove from list Removes the animal from the Active tab. The animal moves to the Past week tab. Note that this action is only available when returning an animal from the Past week tab to the Active tab.
