The system regularly monitors the animals for signs of pregnancy and changes in fertility status. When an animal requires a pregnancy or fertility check, it is added to the Reproduction checks worklist. This helps you track required checks and ensures no animal is missed.

On the Worklist dashboard, the Reproduction checks tile shows the following data:

Abortions: Number of animals having an abortion warning.
Pregnancy: Number of animals needing a pregnancy check.
Fertility: Number of animals needing a fertility check.

Types of Reproduction Checks

The animals that require a pregnancy or a fertility check are automatically added to the Reproduction checks worklist. The Check column on the worklist shows the type of check needed. You can adjust these check settings in the Reproduction Settings.

Pregnancy Checks

Pregnancy check: Pregnancy confirmation needed, this can be the first or second pregnancy check.
Abortion warning: A heat (score ≥3 or confirmed) is detected while the animal is marked as pregnant (PD+).
Manual pregnancy check: Manually added check for pregnancy.

Fertility Checks

Irregular heat: Heats detected at unusually short intervals.
Non cycling: No heat shown or the intervals between the heats are too long after a certain number of days after calving. The number of days is defined in the Reproduction Settings.
Manual fertility check: Manually added check for fertility.

How to Use the Reproduction Checks Worklist

From the Worklist dashboard, open the Reproduction checks worklist. The Active tab opens by default.
To view more data, open the reproduction graph or select the animal number. This opens the animal’s overview, showing all her details.
For each animal, select one of the actions listed in the Animal Actions overview.

Tip

You can use the customized Flags feature to highlight specific health or reproduction conditions for each animal.

The Past week tab shows the animals that were listed on the Active tab in the past seven days.

	Move to custom worklist Moves the animal to a custom worklist. Only available for Fertility checks.
	Checked Confirms that the animal has been checked. The animal moves to the Past week tab. Only available for Fertility checks.
	No heat Confirms that there was no heat. Only available for Abortion warning checks.
	Pregnant Confirms that the animal is pregnant. Only available for all Pregnancy checks.
	Not pregnant Confirms that the animal is not pregnant. Only available for all Pregnancy checks.
	Remove from list Removes the animal from the Active tab. Only available for all Pregnancy checks.
	Uncertain Marks the pregnancy status as uncertain. Only available for (Manual) Pregnancy checks.
