Understanding the In Heat Worklist

Modified on Fri, 16 May at 3:27 PM

The In Heat worklist in Nedap Now helps you monitor the animals that show signs of heat, by identifying the optimal insemination moment, heat scores, and historical heat patterns. With this information, you can determine which animals are ready for insemination and which may require additional attention.

Change the reproduction settings to control which animals appear on the worklist. Adjust the regular heat cycle and choose whether to include animals that are pregnant or in the voluntary waiting period.

On the Worklist dashboard, the In heat tile shows the following data:

  • The number of animals on the worklist (animals in heat).
  • The number of animals per phase in the optimal insemination window.

.

How to Use the In Heat Worklist

  • From the Worklist dashboard, open the In heat worklist.
  • Select the Active tab to view animals that may currently be in heat.
    Focus on the following columns:
  • To view more data, open the reproduction graph or select the animal number. This opens the animal’s overview, showing all her details.
