Activate SmartTags in Airplane mode with the Nedap CowControl App

SmartTags with a production code of T23 or later are shipped without aluminum foil bag and are delivered in airplane mode. After attachment and approximately 24 hours of normal cow behavior, the tag automatically starts transmitting data. 

If the SmartTag does not activate automatically or you want to activate it manually, use the Nedap CowControl app on a smartphone.

Steps to Activate

1. Open the Nedap CowControl app on your smartphone.
2. Make sure you are logged out, then select Use local services.
3. Select SmartTag diagnostics.
4. Select Activate SmartTags.
5. Hold the smartphone against the back of the SmartTag. Wait until the tag is scanned and activated.
6. Select Activate next SmartTag and to repeat, or Close to finish.
